A beautiful song....................
I really love this song (最浪漫的事) The most romantic thing. Here are two beautiful rendition of the song. the first one is by 赵咏华 (Zhao Jue Hua) the original singer and the other is by 卓依婷 (Timi Zhuo).
Here is Zhao Jue Hua version..............
And her Timi's veriosn..............
Truly a classic............

Why am I so moved by this post? Perhaps because I'm married to a man from mainland China and I wonder how our children (if we ever have any) will turn out...I stumbled upon your blog by way of your Lou Jing post, and I wonder if I would have the strength to deal with such shit, or if I even want to raise a child with such racism running strong. Anyway, I'm going to nose around your site more, but seeing your parents lovely photos, and seeing your lovely siblings and your own daughter gives me a glimmer of hope :) Perhaps things won't be so bad...? I wonder though, do you identify more with one culture than the other? You show love for Taiwanese singers, do you know of any Liberian artists? I see you say you were raised in Liberia at first, do you have any feelings towards there? I notice a stronger Taiwanese/Chinese presence than a Liberian one. I'm rambling...the point is, thank you for sharing your pictures, story, and personal moments. I for one, greatly appreciate it. All the best.
