Perhaps because I'm married to a man from mainland China and I wonder how our children (if we ever have any) will turn out...I stumbled upon your blog by way of your Lou Jing post, and I wonder if I would have the strength to deal with such shit, or if I even want to raise a child with such racism running strong. <br />Anyway, I'm going to nose around your site more, but seeing your parents lovely photos, and seeing your lovely siblings and your own daughter gives me a glimmer of hope :) Perhaps things won't be so bad...? I wonder though, do you identify more with one culture than the other? You show love for Taiwanese singers, do you know of any Liberian artists? I see you say you were raised in Liberia at first, do you have any feelings towards there? I notice a stronger Taiwanese/Chinese presence than a Liberian one.
