In the 1950s and the 1960s Yang Xiaoping 楊小萍 was one of the biggest name on the Taiwanese music scene, My dad had some of her songs he used to played on LP when i was a kid growing up, i still remember her strong beautiful and unique voice in the house. Her voice still brings back a lot of good memories.
