Macua........

I took the Turbojet a high speed boat from Hong Kong to Macua which is about an hour and a half journey. Macua was awesome. Here are some photos of my adventures there.

Fantastic place, isn't it? There has been a mixed race community there for 500 years. Chinese, Malay, Indian, Japanese and even a few Portuguese, who were the 華僑 then and almost immediately married locals wherever they went. So generation after generation they were mixed race and they had their own language and culture. That's why the buildings there are such a mix!
